J is for Jars

Jars, bottles, bowls, etc are used in all kinds of religious and spiritual practices. Jars can be used to store things like dried herbs, moon water, salts, tinctures, oils and more.

Jars are used to contain spells or mix up potions. For instance, for Mabon one could assemble a spell in a jar with acorns, leaves, cinnamon sticks, apples and orange oil. You could also add a candle and any other symbols of Fall.

What’s your favorite use of a jar in your practice? Tell us about it in the comments.
